I love sweets. Love them. Give me a healthy sweet treat, and I am happy. So while in Tampa, visiting my friend Lisa, I made some Raw Fig Bars. They turned out so good.. I decided I should share the idea. Healthy food tastes so good!

In order to make these bars, you will need a food processor. Food processors are awesome. I love to experiment and create good food. I am like a mad scientist. Muahahaha… I have made some not-so-delicious experiments too, like Glop–even the dog wouldn’t eat that! Ha!
Usually, I combine the right ingredients and come up with a hit, like these awesome fig bars.

Raw Fig Bars
Ingredients:
20 dried Figs
1/2 cup Raisins
1/4 cup Raw Cashews
3/4 cup Raw Walnuts
1/2 cup Shredded (unsweetened) coconut
2 tablespoons of Chia Seeds
1 tablespoon Honey (or to taste)
3 Tablespoons water (add more if needed-Water can help prevent the mixture from being too thick)
Puree all ingredients in the Food processor (adjust the recipe to taste), spread mixture on a cookie sheet, and allow to chill for three hours.

Full of protein, fiber, vitamins, omega 3’s, and minerals… MMMMM…feel good about food!

WOW, these look amazing. I may have to give them a go! Light and Happiness, lee
