Quieting The Monkey Mind-With Astavakrasana

Sometimes the thoughts come and they are confusing, painful, and totally consuming.. This is known as ‘the monkey mind’. The mind wandering (or bouncing)  all over the place.. thinking, worrying, remembering.. full of “what if’s”…. We all experience this.

Through yoga, we learn techniques to quiet that monkey mind, and come into the present moment.

For me, sometimes the best way to get out of the mind and into the present moment, is by doing some arm balances..

Cheers to healing.. body, mind, soul.
